Located on the edge of the picturesque and sought after village of Cotherstone, which was named as one of the top 10 villages in England and Wales in 2008, Brook House is ideally situated for easy access to the local towns of Barnard Castle, Darlington and Richmond. The property is a grade two listed building, stone built and is full of character and retains many of its original features which gives this small cafe its unique look. There is a lovely well maintained garden which the Brook flows through which gives the property it's name. You can relax outside in the sun or on cold days you can enjoy a warm by the fire. The Cafe opened on the 7th of August 2015 and has been a big success so far. On the 6th of September 2015 it also started doing Sunday Lunches. The cafe offers a range of fresh and delicious homemade breakfasts, lunches including Sunday lunches, snacks and cakes, great teas coffees and much more and all served with a smile! Children friendly and well behaved dogs welcome.
